Hey friends, Have I missed everyone.

My company wore me out while they were here. They were a big help tho it was all worth it. Lewis's 2 brother in laws built him a ramp to the back porch. It looks so good. It will be a big help when he gets home.

He finally got in to see the heart specialist last Thursday. He did an ekg and decided to put him on a medication toperol to slow his heart rate down. He also said he has signs of heart disease. He goes back in 3 months for a chemical stress test. He wants to wait til he is stronger because it could cause him to have another stroke.

He was released from physical therapy today. They said he has reached a plateau and will not be getting any more use from them. I almost feel like they have given up on him getting any better.

He has  a dr appt. this Thursday to remove his hickman catheter  in his chest. The nursing home has let in get infected. I   noticed the date on the bandage and  it hadn't been changed in 2 weeks. So I complained. The nurse came to change it and it was all red and had pus leaking out of it. That can go straight to his heart I was really upset over this one.
