Well here it has been a long time again since I posted. My dear friend Susan passed away August 3, one day before my mom's birthday. We all decided that she had to go get ready for my mom's birthday party in heaven. Susan was such a special person in my life, she was my AA sponsor, my best friend, my worst enemy at times, my other mother, my guiding post, my beacon in the storm......
We did not do the traditional funeral, we had a "Celebration of Life". That is what she would have wanted, she was always the first one up for a party. My heart is breaking for her daughter and husband. They each have lost a major part of their lives and sadly are becoming at odds with each other. I truly hate to see this because I know that it would really PISS Susan off the way the two of them are acting towards each other. I do know that it is probably how each one of them are dealing with their grief. I just wish they didn't have to crash into each other doing it.
I am also back to work now. What a blessing, I am Administrative Assistant to a Counselor. God works miracles. I LOVE MY JOB!!!
Well gotta run, doing a major FUNDRAISER today for the underpriviledged children.
