Good things come from being Dyslexic!

I am living proof that a dyslexic person can reach their goal in life.
I always know that I was different from the other children in my class, back in my
school days.

I always wanted to shout out for help, but never had the confidence to do so, but now as an adult, and finding out that I was dyslexic and will always be dyslexic, has given me the goal in my life, and that is, helping children feel better about them selves, for have some form of
learning difficulty.
I have been given the opportunity to work with children with
learning difficulties; I have been doing voluntary work at my daughter’s old school, teaching art to 11 year olds.

This September I will be a class room assistant, that means I will be there should a child need help but are too afraid to ask, I will recognise the sights of feeling uncomfortable. Being Dyslexic will give me a head start in helping the child before its too late for a none dyslexic to see their is a problem.

I just wanted to share this with you all, for I know some people with
learning difficulties, don’t think that there is any positivity in having a learning difficulty eg Dyslexia.

HUGS to all JAA

I thought this may help someone, that may be feeling down and sad about being Dyslexic or having a any tipe of learning difficulty.

Good on you. I had a young friend who is severly dyslexic but like most of you, very bright. He was blessed to have a mom who fought with the school districts to make them hire persons to teach him. Anyway he is the stage manager for a big performing arts center here in Souther California. He can do all of the jobs backstage and is highly respected
    by all.
