scales still stuck!
The weight won't budge. I'm not sure what to do to get off this number.
Hello to anyone reading this who might be curious about me:)
I am 25 and very very new to this discussion board/community thing... lol
But today I am feeling blue and I don't have anyone nearby whom I can talk to nor anyone who knows what it's like to go through what I've been through... and what I am still going through.
I am generally someone who is hard to get to really know. However.. I am willing to do my best and I am always honest, I think it's the only thing that saved me.
At the moment I am recovering from depression. I am doing well in that aspect. But I am really struggling with weight loss... I've been very virtuous but even with a good diet and plenty of exercice I can't budge from my 89.2 kg.
The sad thing bout this is that not being able to lose weight while trying so hard is getting me.. depressed.
I have read a lot of websites which say that being on antidepressants can make weight loss very hard.
Anyway, I am here to share, to listen, to learn and to understand.
I look forward to this and hope that maybe I can help someone too...

Hey All! The best thing to remember is that we're in control of our internal …
This is such an old goal. It's been completed. Losing weight is very hard for me since I started taking …
glad that you are here. it is really hard when those around you don't seem to understand! I gained weight on the first anti-depressants that i was on. Now with Effexor & Wellbutrin, i don't notice any side effects. BUT, and it is a big but - everyone is different! Keep in close contact with you doc!

I just wanted to say that I read your questions about weight loss and anti-depressants, and I just wanted to say that when watching the biggest looser, I also ate properly and exercised every day for five + weeks. I lost 5 kg, but then i got stumped. I don't think my anti-depressants (effexor) made any difference, i think it was just the exercise that was aimed at where I store my weight, and once I'd gotten rid of the easy stuff, the difficult weight takes longer. Also, the people on the biggest looser only have to focus on diet, exercise and game strategy all day long! I mean, if I had nothing better to do than diet, exercise and games playing, 1) i'd go crazy and 2) i would loose a lot of weight...

I realise ppl on TV have nothing better to do, especially in the biggest Loser. But here at home there's a program where they follow ordinary ppl and they manage to lose some weight even in the first 2 weeks.. I just wish the weight would budge, even just 1kg just so I know it's working.
But I also know it's too early to give up, so i won't, it just gets me down...
But thanks Frost :)
