About Me
I was diagnosed with MS over ten years ago. Pain has always been the main feature of my experience with the disease. For the last two years this has intensified, I have burning/stinging pain from my waist to my feet. I am glad this website exists. I am a lawyer -- civil rights and employment law -- I love tennis -- I love to read and write-- I enjoy swimming -- music -- food (lol) -- and my family.

Treatments
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- I've been on it for two years now. During my first few years of MS I used it then stopped as the symptoms eased. I couldn't function without it, but it isnt enough.
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- I was lucky to find a pain clinic two years ago after pain so severe I was suicidal. My pain flared up big time recently so I just started Loratab as well..
- Dextropropoxyphene Not Working
- I used this off and on for a year or so; suddenly it stopped working. I'd still recommend it over things like Vicodin. It lasts longer.
- Acupuncture Too Soon to Tell
- Has helped in the past.
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- Always good when possible and not overdone. I do recommend neuromuscular therapy.
