Type: Loss of a Partner/Spouse

My husband passed away May 15/07 at home with liver cancer. I work full time for Community Living. I was with Gary for the last 10 days of his life, but it still doesn't seem real. I see and hear him everywhere. I'm not afraid of being here alone, I feel comfort in that I was with him as he took his last breaths. We were told he has a year or 2 without treatment and he got really sick that night and we took him to the hospital to find he was in end stage cancer, so brought him home again.

Animals are great, but I feel guilty I don't have the time to give them that Gary did, considering giving dogs away, they can't stay out winter days, worries me

I read most of my spare time at home, I love mysteries, it helps me think of other things.
