Father and King

Our Father, almighty Lord and king,

He is the creator of everything.

He reins from Heaven above,

and showers us with mercy and love.

He saved us from a pit of despair,

and proved how much He cares.

He who put the stars in the sky,

for our sins came to suffer and die.

Our Father with His love so true,

wants the very best for me and you.

Upon that cross He forgave our sin,

now in our hearts He swells within.

Our Father, please grant us this day,

that forever we will walk in your way.

Let our lips His praises to sing,

for He is our Father and King.

When you call us to our heavenly home,

We will not fear for we are not alone.

When I receive that wondrous call,

It will be at your feet I will fall.
