Go on Mr. Devil you can’t scare me,

There’s one thing that I see.

Even if I fall flat on my face,

I’ll be covered by God’s sweet grace.

When I stand up to sing my song,

I’ll sing out loud and strong.

Even if I sing a little off key,

I’ll still be covered by God’s mercy.

And when it come to speak of love,

I will point to my God above.

Even if you count me a loss,

I still look to that old rugged cross.

Well, Mr. Devil you may have some fun,

But the victory’s already won.

I know alone I can not stand,

But I’ll walk with Jesus in the promised land.

I’ll tell my brothers and sisters too,

Everything I know is true.

His love he wants us to know,

Will save us and make us whiter than snow.
