From a Father on Fathers day

My Darling Child,
Each day we grow older, and before time slips away, there is something my heart must say.
How we truly feel about the ones closest to us often go unsaid. So while these thing are always in my heart let me speak them now.
Let me tell you how much I love you, how proud I am of you and how blessed I am because of you.

I am blessed that God brought you into my world.
I am blessed that God lets me remember your smile.
I am blessed that God protects you when I can not.
I am blessed that God filled you with love and compassion.
I am blessed that God granted me your friendship.
I am blessed that God granted me your love.
I am blessed that God allows me to help in times of sorrow.
I am blessed that God allows me to share your joy.
I am blessed that God works in your life.
I am proud and blessed by God for all you have accomplished.
But most dear to my heart I want you to know,
I am proud and blessed by God that you are my child.

You make each Father’s Day and everyday a day to remember.
