New Day

It is the dawning of a new day,

All my sins are washed away.

The old is gone the new has come,

It is amazing what God has done.

Now with each day that I rise,

I thank God that I am alive.

Alive to share with each of you,

What wondrous things God can do.

As the sun shines bright and warm,

I think of what He did on Easter morn.

From that dark tomb He did rise,

And freed me and opened my eyes.

It is the dawning of a new day,

All my sins are washed away.

The old is gone the new has come,

It is amazing what God has done.

Well I am here to stand and say,

God is with us each and every day.

No matter what you may have done,

Out of love God sent his only Son.

Yes Lord, everyday is a new day.

And I know you will show the way.

What He did for me, He will do for you.

He took our sins and proved His love is true.
