I read today in the 'Tribune' paper. (Palmerston North), that there is a nationwide campaign to better educate teachers, doctors and the general public etc about Autism and all the Spectrum's of Autism. They are asking for a questionnaire to be filled out online by 31st May, So I thought I would bring it to your attention. If you are interested and can help, then please go to this website to help this very needed cause. .It is completely anonymous. And only a short questionaire. www.inmyshoes.co.nz Being a parent of a 14 year old daughter with Aspergers Syndrome, I feel the need to help educate people about the difficulties we parents and indeed our children face daily. I am in a lesbian relationship and have been 4 the last 2 years, we r having a civil union within the next year. We have a 2 year old autisic son who my girlfriend carried and hopefully it will b my turn 2 have a child in the next few years
Open Physical & Emotional Abuse
In short....My ex boyfriend turned 2 alcohol 4 years into our 7 year relationship at 1st it wasnt a big deal but then the emotional abuse and put downs and name calling started and it steadily went downhill from there until the final straw was when he hit me. I slumped into a bad depression and it ruined alot of things that were important 2 me in my life, i am only now just getting my life on track and have just come off all anti depressent meds for the 1st time in nearly 4 years.
