Here is the good news:
It has been one year and I have had no more clots....the IVC filter was removed and it didn't catch any clots. I guess I don't have to worry too much about clotting on Coumadin.
And, although my INR has been a little nuts, it hasn't been higher than 3.9, hasn't been lower than 1.6 So that's not too bad. I've been eating more salad, and things seem ok. I've even gotten somewhat drunk and haven't had any strange bleeding....
