Nope, she's never been on, and won't be as long as she's asymptomatic (no clots). She'll take lovenox as a precautionary measure if they have kids, but besides that, she goes about her life. Hope you have a great weekend!

I am 26 and had a DVT 2 weeks before my wedding. I was released ot the hospital only to find the next day that my chest hurt. Back to the ER--turns out I had bilateral pulmonary emboli. I'm happy to say I made it to my wedding. I know now that I have Factor V Leiden AND Prothrombin Gene Mutation G20210. Yikes! I am still getting used to this and trying to not to think that I am constantly dying. I guess this means Coumadin for life...
Had bilateral pulmonary emboli originating from DVT in right leg. Luckily they were pretty small and caused little pain.
