    About Me

    I am a retired admin. assistant, 2 grown children, 2 grandchildren, divorced once, now separated from the 2nd. Diagnosed w/ m.s. in '99. Have had several episodes, some pretty severe. Doing okay right now. I'm walking on my own. I think I'm in remission now. Have some permanent issues I deal with on a daily basis.

    Interests

    Any spare time is spent with my yellow lab. She is 5. I love to cook. I like antiques and to decorate (indoors & out) I like rustic stuff. I like auctions & "garage sale-ing". I love Spring (we always get short changed though). I love spending time with friends and family.

    • Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
      Type: Relapsing-remitting MS

      I was diagnosed in 1999. Have had several episodes. I have some permanent nerve damage in my hands & feet. I am retired. Mother of 2; grandmother of 2 (wonderful).

      Treatments

      Avonex Not Working
      couldn't deal with the side effects. really dion't know if it would've worked
      Copaxone Working / Worked
      been taking for years. (on & off) it works very well- my stress level recently has over powered its' effectiveness.
