Well, what a week I have had. Long story short, Steroids again. I know there is another protocal for LDN, but I am not too sure my neuro wants me to go that route. She also wants me on something WITH the LDN, and since I need her to write my script, I am probably gonna do it! Why I have been asking about Copaxone. I really LOVE the way my LDN makes me feel, and she agreed that that could partly be from being off Interferons. But I believe in all who have told me their success stories. She says she is uncomfortable not having me on a DMD with all the lesions I have, and I had an MRI on Wednesday, and there are more lesions, and some active ones. I had no idea, but I actually read my prior MRI reports, and they say there is "extensive white matter plaques, many measuring 2cm in diameter". That sounded bad to me! Oh Well! What ya gonna do?

Did you have an exasperation while on LDN? Is that why you had to do the steroids?
TexasMS
Not that I was aware of, there were just enhanced lesions from my MRI on Wednesday. She did the MRI because she thought I was looking a little weak on my right side, I guess she was right! I am staying with my LDN though. I have not felt this good in years!!!

why the steroids?
TexasMS
OH, now I got it, because the enhanced lesions means exacerbation, even if I don't feel it!
dnjnm
Can take vitamin regime, but I agreed to the steroids, because she seemed so concerned about the amount of lesions and not being on DMD already, so, it is a give and take sice I had only been on LDN since November anyway.
dnjnm
No, I was not sure why thats all, my understanding was that steroids were to slow down or stop an flair up, and you did not say you were having one so I just did not understand. I am not a doc and have no idea why they do half the crap they do anyway
TexasMS
Its ok, I was probably not clear!! Sorry, They cannot get to me til Monday, so maybe I can talk her into letting me try the vitamin regime!
