I am very happily married to a wonderful man. We have a small dog, several hens, and a rooster. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease 30 years ago when I was 17 years old. I have had one surgery, December 2002. Doing pretty good. I have learned to live (a fairly normal life) with Crohn's disease. I am a very happy person and am thankful for each day. I wish you well and hope to hear about your experiences.
My husband and I are both outdoors people, fishing, camping, etc. We also enjoy sports and staying active. We live in a very wooded area and love being surrounded by tall trees instead of concrete buildings. Enjoy yourself today and every day!

I have had Crohn's Disease for 30 years, diagnosed at age 17. I have had one surgery, December, 2002,(Ileocolectomy/resection) due to severe narrowing. I am doing well today because I have long ago reached acceptance and have learned to live with chronic illness. (See MY STORY Journal Entry June 20, 2007)
