    I am a divorced lady, living with my one daughter and I am HIV positive. I work as a secretary with the Kenyan Government. My family are living far away from me. I am staying alone. I am kind and down to earth. I like people and can mix easily with people. Though I found out that I am HIV + I am strong about it and always pray to God.

    Interests

    I am like listening to music, swimming, dancing and watching movies, attending to childred and cooking.

          I found out that I was HIV positive after having gotten ill with TB. When I went for the test, my CD4 was 281 and since then my CD4 has come 271. I have not started taking any antiretroviral drugs but I do take septrin. I have not experienced any other complications but I was advised by my doctor to wait until my CD 4 comes down is when I start taking drugs. I also lost a baby of 15 months due to this. My ex-husband said that he tested negative and is already married now.

          Treatments

          Bactrim DS Working / Worked
          TB drugs worked for me and septrin too is working though I sometimes have mouth thrush.

          I have been divorced for two years now. I am feeling lonely and abandoned. My ex-husband left with everything we owned and left me to start from scratch. Life has been hard with my daughter. No friends and no love in my life.

          It has been lonely, no friends and no one to love me since I am also HIV positive. It has been traumatising for me and my daughter.

          I have been lonely but time and prayer helps. Friends are hard to come by because everybody sees me as an outcast.
