I agree with Michele,he knows your going to do it no matter what,I think its a man trait.
I have yet to see one ask,what can I do to help or just pitch and do whats needed.
Its not an easy road when dealing with some men,its like a part of them never grows up and we of course as women have the mother instinct and feel we have to be all things to all people,we sad to say grow up way to fast.
