Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
Treatments
- Elmiron Too Soon to Tell
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- I am avoiding all salt, wheat, and soy (really). I think it is helping. I shall know more when I am on it longer.
- Neurontin Not Working
- It made my vision blurry, and I was tired all the time. I ceased taking.
- VESIcare Not Working
- Who knows what good this does- for me it made my mouth super dry.
- Celebrex Working / Worked
- Take for pain when needed
- Ultram Working / Worked
- Take one of these when pain is disabling
Close Chronic Pain
Treatments
- Chiropractic Adjustment Working / Worked
- Has worked but do not have sufficient time and funding to continue.
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Makes me too sleepy. I also take other pain meds for IC but all have long term side effects and kidney damage is now occuring.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Have taken- also makes me sleepy. Same problem as hydrocodone.
Open Fibromyalgia
Have IC and now severe muscle pain that causes blackouts and periods of either immobility or mobility on serious meds.
