About Me
I am a receptionist at a financial firm. I have great family support. My passion is life and I feel I lost a lot of my passion for life since I have IC. I do have good and bads days. I just wish it would go away, but I know that is not going to happen. This condition is a nightmare I hate having it. It has changed my life in every possible way. I did find a doctor I really like.
Interests
Travel, family, friends, dancing, birds, food & drink, but now I can't eat & drink to many things and that makes me very unhappy.

Thank you for your Hug and here is one for you...HUG! I am very curious how you are able to work. It is possible that I have intensified pain due to the fact that my bladder, while severely painful is also popping through my vaginal opening. I have a very limited time to be able to stand during the day. I must constantly lay down and keep my legs horizontal or my pain elevates to "Knives shoved up my crotch". I wish my doctor would help me to the point that I could work or get through a day like a normal person. I'm sorry for the bellyaching. I happen to have severe pain at the moment. I am very thankful for your hug and kind words...cheryl

The Elmiron has helped but has not relieved all my symptoms esp the constant burning and feeling of a full bladder. These are symptoms I have learned to deal with daily. I do hope that you remain symptom free and can enjoy life. Good for you and your supportive family. You are right this is a terrible condition. My diet and not drinking enough water affects me the most. I atr spagetti tonight(one of my favorite meals) and I realize I will pay for it the next few days. Hope it was worth it. I haven't tried the soda water before meals but I have heard it works-have you? Let me know. Carey

Thank you so much for your kind words! I have had IC pretty much all my life and it took them forever to diagnose it. That is why all the treatments have failed. I have tried all the experimental things you can think of. I have only been left with the option to remove my bladder. It is so hard to live locked up in your house and going from dr to dr. Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
I have been diagnosed with IC for 3 1/2 months now. I am still trying to face the truth that I have this condition. I am not the same person I us to be.
