Yes, you can tell your doctor you do not want to vaccinate yet. or at all. You can even get a letter from them excusing your child from vaccinations requierd for school for medical or religious reasons now. I agree, you can not take the vaccinations back, you can however get them later. I would do research on each of them, and the positive and negative affects they have on babies/children. Make an educated decision, but make the decision for yourself. It's like I told my husband, it's a chance. Do you vaccinate and risk a serious reaction, or not vaccinate and risk an illness. I just think they could treat what he will be exposed to at home with me easier than they can treat a reaction or death from a vaccination...I had all of mine, and I am fine. But, because Jakob passed 2.5 days after his, I dont know if they caused his body to go over the edge because he was already so sick...I just cant risk that. And he will be home with me, not at daycare...

Hi I just read a couple of your posts regarding vaccinations. First off don't make a decision based on fear, either that of diseases your baby "could" catch nor the fear of vaccines. I have done lots and lots of research, there are several books I would recommend (dr sears is not one of them tho) A thoughtful parents guide to vaccines is great because it also has common remedies for illnesses. If you are still breastfeeding know that your baby is getting the best kind of innoculation from the anitbodies in your breastmilk. Breastfed babies are naturally immune to diseases like HiB- making a vaccine for that unneeded especially at such a young age. Look at the diseases you would actually vaccinate for and go from there. There have NEVER been any studies done on the effects of all these vaccines done together- but there are plenty of studies done showing that the ingrediants used can have numerous issues (and yes I reccomend you know exactly how a vaccine is made so you are aware what you could be introducing to your childs body) I have a site that I trust insidevaccines.com they quote all there info/references from the cdc pinkbook (which can be downloaded from the cdc webpage) and JAMA. Its time consuming yes, but you are the only one who can give yourself the information you need. I totally beleive in informed consent. I do NOT vaccinate my baby, and my son was vaccinated up until 1 yr and he has issues. You can't take back vaccinations once you give them, but you can ALWAYS give them later when their little bodies can handle it. FWIW the it would take 26 vaccines to an 180lb male to equal the amount of toxins a newborn receives with a single Hep B shot on they day they are born. Good luck! If you need any help or have any questions please let me know! I have been researching for a year now, so I know how overwhelming it can be. YOu are by far not alone in this!

I want to let you know I am not "against" you regarding your post and I did see the comment that you left for me on my blog- I was merely saying you could have gone about it in a different way-Using a person's own words against them to humiliate them is the highest form of betrayal and humiliation there is-again this is a forum and we all have a right to our opinions I don't know if you and the other member have problem's aside from the post yesterday-I'm saying I was really disgusted when I saw you stoop to that level-What works for one doesn't always work for other's-Peace-"Cookie."

My doctor gave me a chart of how much caffeine you should have in a day and protein carbs. But it says that its ok to drink one cup of regular coffee or one coke. After you do that it says to drink lots of water through out the day.
