About Me
I have had fibro since I was a child and didn't know anything about it till about 7 years ago. It has become debilitating no matter what exercise regimen I try. The pain is always with me and my sleep patterns are all over the place. Thank God that we are now retired and my husband is very caring and understanding. Others cannot understand what is the matter with me.
Interests
The Bible, my wonderful husband, our 2 sons and their wives and our 3 beautiful grandaughters, reading, music, knitting, photography, plastic canvas, my online groups, skype friends, learning new things.

I really have no patients for egotistical doctors, who feel that its all in your head because they cant fix it, so they choose to blow it off. Those are the ones who need to actually GET this illness so they can get a clue. Then you deal with others, who actually KNOW what they are doing, and their skills are nothing short of amazing. That is the type of doc I hope to find. Thanks for your support

Thanks so much for your message and friend request. Yes, my recliner chair seems to be the only place I can sit comfortably and I keep my heating pad close. My sister made me a pillow that holds a book since I have so much trouble with my hands. But I do have trouble with concentration. I can read the same book over and over again because I don't remember it the first time. Sad but it saves money on books :) Hope you are feeling well today.

Close Fibromyalgia
I have had Fibromyalgia since I was a child and didn't know a thing about it till about 7 years ago. Haven't been able to work since 1999 when I totally collapsed. Couldn't get disability even though I had afidavits from a specialist and family doctor. I am glad my hubby retired in 2005 and we moved up north where the air is cleaner and it is not as humid. But the season changes really hit me hard.
Treatments
- 5-HTP Not Working
- No affect at all.
- Acupuncture Working / Worked
- The doctor who gave me one acupuncture treatment is leaving town and there is no one left to do it.
