Type: Loss of a ParentI was 15 when my mom died of cancer. She had been sick for 3 years. She stayed at home for much of her illness. My dad died when I was 20 of a sudden heart attack. That was really hard because I was at college when it happened. He was there one minute and then gone without any notice. I'm now 39. It doesn't seem possible that they died so long ago. I have two girls that will never know my parents, which is hard. I miss the things I will never be able to do with my parents.
