What a dreary day.  Gee I hate to see winter come! at 5:27am this morning the storm woke me up, boy the thunder, lightning and hard rain. It's 44 degrees today with maybe snow later. It's this time of year I pray for the homeless people that are out in this weather. I canceled my appointment to get new glasses, cause it would be 4 bus changes standing out in the cold and wind. Today was the day my Aging Service Senior Companion came anyway.  She cleaned some of my carpet, empted bymy garbage then we thought what the heck why sit around here and be blue? So we took off for "brunch" at Denny's Resturant and then went to the Wild Oats store where I'm looking for a book on Diverticulitis.

My hometeacher worked for 45 minutes last nite, trying to get the new laptop computer hooked up.  We did get a light! BUT we couldn't turn it on! He studied and studied, finally quit, said the book just was like reading greek. Thank goodness he left this one hooked up!
