Today's Dr. appoint was one like I have never had before.  Thank goodness I have a Senior Companion thru the ageing service for 20 hours a week.  She took me.  Was glad I had someone to take my mind off how nervous I was!  This Dr. read the breast ultra sound to me in terms I could understand. He told me it was Growing! He gave me two choices.  Have a plain biopsy, BUT then every year when I have a mammogram it will show positive and I would have to go thru this every year or go ahead and take it out since it is GROWING.  I took the option of having it taken completly out since my family history is 6 people having cancer. 5 breast, grandfathers was throat. So Thur. the 13th I'll go under the knife....we hope I can still go ahead and have the operation on my shoulder. The Dr. the 19th (Bone Dr.) will make that decision.  From that surgery I will be taken to a rehab center.
