FINALLY I'm seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel!
Yesterday was my first day g(after being on a list for 8 months) of going with my senior companion from the Aging Service. We went to Wal Mart for grocerys, then went to McDonalds for a hamburger, gee we talked for hours getting to know one another. They take you places, do light housekeeping...you name it....we're going to start going to a local senior center for a nice meal, one of their craft meetings or something we find interesting. Boy am glad to gave someone open my gatorade!
Tomorrow at therapy Jim will get the results of my MRI on my shoulder that I had last week. I'm starting to do little things again! I can open my door with a key, (flush my toilet ha ha) hold a 17 oz drink of water..close a car door, I could go on and on!
Hope it's a wonderful day for all you my friends! Your support has really meant a LOT to me these last months, I still have a long time probably but its nice finally seeing that its starting to heal.![]()
