Not much has went on as usual here today.  I had therapy early in the morning.  I remember Dr. Horsley tell me to "take time and smell the roses" this morning I smelled morning glories!

Before therapy I ran into Desert Industries Thrift Shop and got me a couple of books, I sure do read a lot.  Golly this is the first time in my life I haven't been able to volunteer, I just hate laying around so much...I read a lot do you?

I tried to "sneak" into the complex but two of my friends BEGGED me to come to Bingo. I was tired and really didn't want to go, but it's nice to visit.  I didn't win one "draw" when more than one wins, the have you draw from cards and then the highest one wins.  I lost. BUT i did Bingo again and got a Mini Flashlight and Pen Set.  The flashlight is on a key chain. Heck won't be able to open it until I can handle scissors, the steel finger guard really does goof me up...try opening a bottle of water or use a can opener or pull up your pants with one hand.  I'm sure glad people can't see me at times!

It's nice to get out of those 10 days of 3 diget hot weather...it was a little cooler today and it really did feel good!  How's weather your way?  We have flash floods all over, lightningk, this time of year I guess. The mud slides are on TV right now.

Have to write a couple of paragraphs of a letter, then go and do something, this laptop and those cervical disks in my back just don't get along!

Have to quit am just aching too bad.    Sandi in UTAH..Last nite sure did scare me, first timein a LONG time I was goingto take a pain killer.  But heat did help. Think I did too much...had therapy, lifted too much and did WAY too much typing....just have to slower on this computer I guess.

Today is my 2 sets of therapy excercises and now am afraid I'll hurt so bad again!
