Just a few lines before i leave for my holiday my ear is alot better but still have to visit the doc before i go and will still be on my tablets while i am away. We had a lady from social services occupational thepthy to look at needs in the bathroom she will provide a raised toilet seat,some sort of lift for the bath, something that will help me get out of bed better and finally a seat for the settee to help me get on and off the chairs better. I know these things will help but it is hard to accept them. I hope that we i return from my hoilday i will have heard from the pain cilinic. Somebody is coming to the house to a Fire assement. They suggest a shower room which some work it will depend on wheather we can get a grant but it could take up to two years to get. Hubby is okay about most things but does not really want the bathroom changing. I can understand this but i suppose it would be better for me in the long run so we will see how we get on when the lift arives for the bath which should be when we return.
Wish all my friends lots of hugs and prayers and thank them for all their support.
I will pary for you all while i am away but i will miss you all

I give you a lot of credit for getting the changes. I had the same problem accepting aids to help. For me it was hard to just get a cane and wheelchair. But in the long run it will help you. I hope you have a great trip.
