I started writing a poem back on Jan. 1, 2004 just 2 months after Elvins death.
A MOTHERS FRIGHT
In the stillness of the night
I sit hoping for morning light
A life gone from sight
Lives on in the stillness of the night.
The son that shone so bright
Never dims in the stillness of the night
But shines threw those left behind that night
To see the morning light.
Is that the end? Or is there more to living your life after a child passes?
Am I selfish to want more? I just miss you so much Elvin!!!!!!!!!!
In faith hope and love.Pam

I find a nice quiet place, when I meditate at night, and relax. I wish I was like this all of the Time. Stillness, …
Answers and knowing come in...........stillness.
Wonderful poem. I am not sure if there is anything else for us, mothers, who have lost a child. Like you a question every day and miss my son every day, the baby, the boy and the man. I am not sure that we will ever recover. We may heal slightly but will carry this grief always. God bless you.
