Headstone

Tim and I read the first part of the book Relationship Rescue by Dr Phil today before going to the lake with the kids. He seems very impressed with what the he has to say. I think we found a book Tim can really respect and relate too. I, myself, think it sounds a LOT like the Al anon 12 step programs. Thats not bad, just ironic since I started attending some on line meetings for that. (My father is an alcoholic and I seem to fit the perfect profile of someone who was raised in the home of alcoholic upbringing.)
after that, we went to the lake as planned. It was a wonderful afternoon!! The weather was perfect, not to hot or too cool. Even down at the water front the temp was just right. Heidi and Ryan played at the park for a while then we walked along the lakeside walk. The kids got soaked in the fountains and then we stopped and got them an ice cream at the club house. Tim and I picked out the "boat" we wanted! LOL! Yeah, when we win the lottery maybe! It must be nice to have that kind of money! Oh well. The best part of the day was free, and that was the joy in being with the kids on such a nice day! AND it was at my favorite place, the lake front!
