Close COPD & Emphysema
I live in Kent in England. I am 45 years old. For about 3 years I was breathless. I thought it was down to smoking so I went to my Health Centre to be checked. Diagnosed with COPD 3 months ago. Reality of it didnt hit me till I got a chest infection, couldnt breath, couldnt sleep, thought I was dying. More medication has really helped. I gave up smoking when I was diagnosed. I have always been very active and find now I cant do vary much at all. I am still coming to terms with this disease.
Treatments
- Serevent Working / Worked
- 50micrograms in Seretide Accuhaler(Advair). Seems to work for me, but still need Salbutamol inhaler now and again.
- Flovent Too Soon to Tell
- 100 micrgrams in Seretide Accuhaler.(Advair}
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- great reliever. before i was prescribed the Seretide Accuhaler this was my lifeline to being able to sleep for 4 hour periods!
- Zocor Working / Worked
- aok, cholestrol lower all the time.
