I am 22 years old and I am in my 5th year of college. I will be graduating with a degree in Special Education/Elementary Education Fall of 2008. I love my family and friends, and look forward to meeting new people here!

I couldn't respond because I am not in the depression group, but I want to tell you that I would never get mad at a friend for not being able to come to my wedding. To me, a true friend is someone who loves and supports you no matter what. You are a good person and you deserve to be treated fairly. I hope you have restful weekend!!

My name is Krista. I was diagnosed with CMT when I was 5. I am now 22. I wear AFO's which help me keep my balance and I don't trip and fall as much. I have learned to live with CMT this long, but it can still be hard. I am the only one in my family with any type of muscular dystrophy.
my name is krista. 23 year old who suffers from clinical depression. I also have muscular dystrophy. I was recently hospitalized due to my depression/ suicidal thoughts and attempts. I am now in search of groups and people who can help support me. I have been depressed since my early teens.
My dad was diagnosed with hydrocephalus about 10 years ago. He has had many shunt repairs, but has not had to have any more surgeries for about 5 or six years. I am just here to hear other people's stories.
I have degenerative disc disease. I was diagnosed with this at age 20. Alot of my back pain also has to do with poor posture due to my CMT as well as scoliosis.
I was just diagnosed with mild scoliosis. I have severe back pain due to pressure on my L5 vertabrae.

I am in my 5th year at college. My program takes FOREVER to get through! I will graduate Fall 2008. I get very stressed out at times, but try to take each day at a time.
I want to loose at least 30 pounds. I am over weight and have high blood pressure. I'm only 22! I am 30 lbs over weight, and would like to loose it. I hope to loose 10 pounds by Christmas.
my great-grandmother passed away on November, 3 2007. I was VERY close to her. she was 95, and lived a great life.
