I'm a Carolina Girl who moved to DC for work! I left my cheating husband in April 2007 and I think it was one of the smartest decisions I've ever made for myself! I've just learned how to try new things and I'm digging it! Life is too short to be miserable and unhappy. I believe we are ultimately in control of our situations and if your situation doesn't work for you, you can change it. You have to FIND your happiness! I am 100% dedicated to finding mine! :)
Recently, I've started trying new things. I love being active and outside! I love mountain biking and snowboarding! I'm hoping to learn how to surf this summer! I want to meet new people and pack my days off with fun, fun, fun!

I married my high school sweetheart in 1998. I have caught him several times cheating, the last time, I decided NOT to "get over it."
My brother committed suicide by hanging himself when he was 14 years old. I was 16 at the time.
