    About Me

My pain is lacerating. I feel as if a dagger repeatedly pokes itself inmy lower right pelvis, as if it's trying to escape. Now I also have pain that resonates in my lower back! :(

    Interests

Cuddling with my dogs when I'm in pain. Spending time with my loving husband. Enjoying my miracle baby! :)

    • Close Endometriosis

Finally my cries of pain have been heard and taken seriously. Finally I know my pain is not just circling in my mind. There is a name for my chronic pain, and it is endometriosis.

      Treatments

      Surgery Not Working
Beginning this year I have had laparoscopy once per season. I feel better initially, but the feeling dissipates after a month.
      Laparoscopic Surgery Not Working
-Appendectomy (my appendix was completely normal) -Removal of cyst on ovary (endo was found) -Soon will have another to remove all endo
      Depo-Provera Working / Worked
I was on Depo-Provera for about two years when my gynecologist suggested I stop the injections. I was horrified because with Depo I had no period, no cramps, no pain, and or even no PMS! She said a new study came out that if Depo-Provera is taken for more than one year, osteoporosis is likely to develop when older. Therefore, I stopped and switched to the birth control pill. However, in time, I began developing these horrible pains that were hard to describe. That was two years ago, and I just found out three months ago that I have Endo. Therefore, being on Depo was keeping the Endo that I was not aware of at bay!
