I am a computer professional and lived in the High Point-Jamestown area for 18 years. I have one child who is elementary school age. I am very active in my community.
Interests
I coach my son's recreation sport teams and we are involved with the cub scouts. I like to read and watch TV programs. I like to do things and keep busy. I like to excercise, run, bike, hike, and walk.

Thanks!! My holiday was like yours... cleaning and doing laundry. :( I was invited to a party with my sister and her boyfriend but I didn't want to be a third wheel, so I stayed home. Hopefully next year will be better for all of us. ~XX~

Support Groups
Close Breakups & Divorce
On to the next phase after a long drawn out period of time. We are now separated and I am struggling with what to do with my life.
Treatments
- Couples Counseling Not Working
- Counselor seemed to support my spouses position and did not attempt to suggest a way to repair the marriage. I felt it was useless but the therapist was OK.
- Music Not Working
- Could not listen to music for over a year. Music made me feel sad.
- Reading Not Working
- Read books on how to save a marriage and tried some of the things and it did not work. It's like counseling without the counselor.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- Best support was from a co-worker who experienced the same thing. Friends have been a big help.
- Support Groups Working / Worked
- Talking Working / Worked
- Probably the best therapy.
- Time Working / Worked
- Time seems to be working now. I guess you can only take this for so long before you give up and move on.
