Journal Entry for June 9, 2007 Mood
Saturday, June 9, 2007

I cannot list what I ate today, because I ate in the category of unmentionables. The food-that-which-should-not-be-consumed.

F*ck, I'll admit it. I ate 3 donuts today. :(

I biked 5 miles tonight at dusk to repent and also ate about 6 winged insects. Ew.

I have a wonderfully free morning to gym tomorrow. Weights and cardio-galore. Health-full foods shopping and working from home. ;)

I'm exhausted by many things but inspired by some. I'm working on focusing on what happens after *SPLAT*. Less rumination equals more production.

I finally landed an appointment to start physical therapy for my back. Please pray/hope for me that something good comes out of this...Flexeril is just not cutting it for me. I have learned to live with pain but it scares me when people twice my age give me sad eyes and tell me their husbands/wives have had chronic back pain since my age. Not a good feeling to have people look at you like you age badly! That is why I'm (1) food diary-ing and (2) exercising each and everyday despite bugs.

The challenge I recognize is what are you working towards and when you get there what do you do next. How do you make this a habit like brushing your teeth?

Those bugs are full of protein. Chronic pain isn't easy to live with, but then no one ever said life was going to be easy. I'd settle for interesting, which, by the way, you are.

I finally figured out how to leave comments, haha.

Anyway, I had no idea what you meant about the bugs until I read it again, LMAO! Yep, there's some protein for you.

About the splat - my siggie other always says, "It's not what you do to fall, it's what you do to get back up." I *think* that's what you meant by splat. If not, there's a little saying for you anyway. :)

It sucks when we fall short of your goals and expectations. Don't worry, you're just being human, as we're all imperfect. We'll, that's how I look at goal setting. At least you recompensed yourself w/the biking.
