    About Me

    I am about to turn 47 and this is my second round of caring for an ailing parent. I took care of my Dad for five grueling years (advanced diabetes, heart disease, end stage renal disease- the whole grocery list) and now I am given the challenge and the opportunity to take care of my Mom, who has been diagnosed with AD. I have no life. I am not married and have no children.

      Stage: Early Onset

      I am the adult daughter and only caretaker of an early-onset Alzheimer's patient. I was the primary caretaker for my father for five years before he succumbed to advanced diabetes/renal failure/sepsis/atherosclerosis, and here I am again.
