Hi Friends,

First of all let me say Merry Christmas to all of you.  I had a wonderful Christmas.  It was actually the best one that I have had in the last 5 years.   There was not one moment in the whole day that I felt lonesome or sad.   We had our Christmas here at home at 7 this morning and then drove up to my parents house for the big family Christmas.  As is the tradition, Daddy made Christmas breakfast for everyone.  IHOP's got nothing on Grandpa's Christmas breakfast! :)  After breakfast we opened gifts and watched the children play with their new toys.  The weather was chilly but not bad so several of us went for a walk.  But the most fun thing was the new rope swing that Grandpa and my brother hung last week.  We each took a turn swinging....even Grandpa climbed up on the tree house and jumped off on the swing! Now my dad is 71 years old but you wouldn't know it!  We laughed and had a great time!  :)  After all that we went back to the house and had lunch!  We stayed for a few more hours and then came home.  I even got a lead on a job from my brother so when I got home I applied online.....Like I said, it was a very good day....

But now, I have to tell you what else has happened.....Last week I met someone.....We had a first date and it went very well.  Of course, I was nervous but I really liked him.  Since that first date we have talked everyday......This evening he asked me out again.  So we had a second date and like I said, I really like him.  We had a great time and he told me that he would like to see me again. :)  I'm very excited and looking forward to getting to know him better.....I'm feeling extremely positive about 2008!
