Hello to all my friends,

Today was another milestone in my life as a mom.  The girls and I went wedding dress shopping for Lauren.  Oh my goodness....what a beautiful bride she will be.  She tried on at least 8 dresses and looked stunning in all of them.  AND I didn't cry at all!  :)  Of course we each had our favorites but overall we agreed on most everything.  One of her bridesmaids is actually a designer and will be making the dress but we needed to get an idea of what she wanted.  She decided on ivory instead of white and I agreed.  The style will be a classic "A" line dress with cap sleeves.  Katie tried on bridesmaid dresses too.  Lauren has chosen "clover" as her color and we did find a perfect dress for the attendants.  Of course now the other 3 girls will have to try it on too....

After our excursion Lauren came back to our house and I cooked dinner for the 3 of us.  It was a nice quiet evening at home....so overall, a very good weekend.
