Hi friends,

I hope everyone is doing well this Labor Day weekend.  My weekend has been great so far.  Yesterday my siblings, children and I went up to my parents house for the annual clean up the farm day.  Every year my parents don't ask for any gifts for their birthdays which both fall in the summer.  Instead, they ask that we all go up to their place and do major cleaning.  So yesterday was the day.  We all got there about 9 in the morning.  We scrubbed, polished, vacuumed, dusted, pulled weeds, washed windows, and even power washed the outside of the house.  It was alot of work but it was worth it.  This year we had a special treat because two of the pet cows have recently had calves.  So we got to see the new babies, Buzz and Jesse.  Now they have a herd of 5 cows.  :)  You would never believe that we are city folk, huh?  But we are....we just like to go to the country to enjoy the good clean air.  Anyway, the girls and I got home around 4 and we all took a nap.  Then last night we went to see "Becoming Jane".  It was nice to be out with my girls and the movie was really good.  Its even got Katie wanting to read all of Jane Austen's books.  :)  What an inspiration Jane Austen was.  An amazing lady, especially with the obstacles that she faced in her time. 

Today of course is Sunday, my favorite day of the week.  Katie and I went to Mass this morning and then did some shopping and lunch. Then we came home, mowed the yard, cleaned our own house, and put out the autumn decor.   I love this time of year.  The rest of the weekend I don't have much planned so I think I'll just enjoy my clean house.  I do need to spend some time studying so thats on the list too.  Well, gotta go for now...
