Just a note to let you know how things are going. The Artane seems to be helping some of the time. We were referred to a pain management doctor last week. My hubby has been given cortisone shots for a bad back and hip for several years. We were hoping for a doctor to do that. However the doctor seems to think the pain in his back and down the leg are from Dystonia. He is recommending to the Neurologist ( by letter) that more trigger points are needed. The pain gets so bad he cannot move at times. It will be May before we go back for more cortisone shots.
The weather is beautiful here in Texas. Trying to enjoy it before the "heat wave" starts. Of course we have had several storms come through with lots of lightening, hail, wind and rain. Hid out in the bathroom one night for about an hour. They kept telling everyone to take cover. We are enjoying beiing able to see the kids more often and go to the soccer games with our grandson. Life is good most of the time. We feel blessed to be able to still do the things that we can. I am gratefull for my friends at DS and all of the support that is given. Blessings to All!!!!

I know what your dh is going through with the back pain going down the leg but my doc keeps putting me off and saying it's just a little arthritis. Dystonia is my thinking but my doc will not say that that's what it is for sure but a person knows. Anyway, good to hear from you and praying for you both. Hugs, Jan

glad to here how the meds are doing. we had the same storm run throught we had a lot of hail damage in ft smith at my work but none at the house. I am dreading the humid hot weather yuck but it is beautiful weather right now.

Are you sure you are not overdoing the cortisone shots? Have you tried the spinal decompression chamber 6000. It is expensive but it helped my husband. He had such pains in his thigh and hip. It was completly gone is a few treatments. Now after about 6 months he gets just slight pains. Good luck and watch those storms. Thank goodness we get none here in New York.
