I had a good visit with family members at my uncle's funeral. So sad that it is like a reunion when someone passes away. But that seemsto be the only time we all get together. It really was a celebration of his life. He was a good man and I know it seems impossible but no one ever heard him raise his voice or " talk " about anyone. I went to the grocery store this afternoon and by the time I walked around the store, carted them to the car and got them home I was exhausted. I had to unload them right away because I had frozen stuff and dairy products. I have been trying to catch up on everyone's journal and messages. Sorry if I have missed some action. Tomorrow is Cowboy's football and hubby has already ordered what he wants to eat. LOL Hoping everyone has a good night and a great Sunday. XOXO pat

Take your time... put your needs first - we'll all still be here where you've rested.
It is sad that extended families are so busy that wakes and weddings are reunions as well. So it goes. Still, it is nice when family can get together and touch base.

Sorry about your uncle, he sounds like a sweet sweet man. I hope my funeral will be a celebration. I remember funerals when I was a little kid, my family acted like they were at the wailing wall. I hated that..it makes it so hard on everyone. I want the Irish Tenors music playing at my funeral, really upbeat...no, I'm not Irish....Hungarian...but there are no cd's of the Hungarian Tenors! :-)
