I just got word that my uncle passed away tonight. He was 93 years old and lived a very full life. He was able to stay in his home until 2 -3 months ago. His wife, my aunt, passed away 2 years ago.He had the most amazing memory. He never forgot to call me every year, no matter where I was, on my birthday and recall the events of my birth that lasted most of the night. LOL
My grandmother had 11 children and 2 passed away early. There were 5 brothers and 4 sisters that remained very close and always home for the holidays and family reunions. As one of the older cousins we discussed that our parents were getting older and we would start losing them. But we were far from ready. There is one aunt and 2 uncles left. When you are saying prayers tonight please remember our family. Sending blessings to you all. pat

pat,i am so sorry to hear about your uncle,i too have an 83 year old uncle who has been in hospital for about three months now,every time the phone rings we think this is it,but bless him he keeps going somehow,yes i will pray for you and your family,cause no matter how old the relation or friend,it isn't easy losing them,love and hugs to you all ,helen.
