Good morning DS friends. As usual it is hot here in Texas. We need rain ! Today will be the first day under 100 for over a week. We are trying to go out early and get back to the AC. This does give me more time to work on the two scrap books. Our kids are in Florida with Mickey Mouse. They are having a blast. Sent me a picture of the two boys (Josh and his cousin) and they had painted faces. When the son called he told me that each paint job cost $ 15.00. Now THAT is a lot money to washed off in a few hours. LOL I guess at this time of our lives we are looking at things differently and money is harder to come by. I am glad that they are enjoying their vacation. They plan to stop by New Orleans on their way home. Got to go get back to the pictures. Blessings

I used to live in Laredo years ago. Practically every day for a month I would pass by the bank in the early afternoon and the sign would read above 100 degrees. (in August) And this was before any global warming!! It was just house ac to car ac to shop ac to work ac. You sneak quickly from one enclosure to another. Stay cool. :) dave

My first reaction was the same... washing $15 down the drain... My 2nd thought was, WTHeck - a memory like that - priceless.
Hoping it really does cool off where you are - without bringing on a T-storm.

Thanks for all of the comments. They just called and they are having a blast. They will leave tomorrow for New Orleans and spend 2 nights there. But the BIG news is that my soon to be 7 year old grandson is not a phone person. I think I have talked to him twice on the phone. He got on the phone and said " Hi Grandma, we are having so much fun. I will tell you all about it when we get home. BYE GRANDMA, I LOVE YOU. !!! Wow !!! I told our son I would have to go lie down. LOL It is RAINING here right now. I am going outside to play in the rain. Blessings to all !!
