Journal Entry for July 23, 2008 Mood
Wednesday, July 23, 2008 | A General Update story
Well after all of the blood tests and scans the Urologist did a  procedure today that went into the bladder and checked the prostate.  He said there was 3 places with scarring from the surgery that was done in 2003.  He found nothing wrong with the prostate. That is GREAT news.  But the other news is that hubby's incontenance is not due to that. He feels it is caused by the PD.  He has given him a prescription for Flomax. He has tried to other generics with no luck.  I am praying it will help. Having to wear a diaper all day is hard.  I know that many are doing or have done the same thing but I am hoping that we can put that off for awhile.  Thanks for all of the hugs and messages. I appreciate you all.

Great news about the prostate being fine. Bad news about the incontinence being from his PArkinson's. My hubby took flomax, sorry to say it didn't help much, but his problem wasn't as dire as your hubbys, so hopefully it will work well enough that he won't need diapers! You bothe will be in my prayers. You have had WAY too much stuff to handle, you both deserve a break! ((hugs))marcia
