I know it's much easier said than done, but try and relax. I think alot of these feelings have to do with anxiety. I did the same thing, and I DO KNOW what you are going through. You would be surprised what stress can do to you. You may be taking TOO MUCH fiber, maybe try to ease up on that, but keep taking the stool softeners. I'm here if you need to talk, get plenty of rest!!

I went through the surgery three weeks ago and I'm doing great so hang in there - it's worth it. I emailed Jaymie lots just before surgery, so you can talk to both of us if you need to. It really helps. I would highly recommend the book "prepare for Surgery, Heal faster" by Huddleston. It made a big difference to me and my doctor even said my recovery was pretty remarkable. Going into surgery prepared and with peace of mind is a good thing. Keep positive!
