      Type: Relapsing-remitting MS

Hi, My name is Linda and I am married to a young gentleman who I love and adore. He has relapsing-remitting MS. He always gets where he can not walk this time of year. I wonder is it the season change, the added stress of the holidays or just the way it is? I can use any support for he and I that I can get.Thanks.

      Treatments

      Avonex Working / Worked
On 1 a week for a year basis. No flare-up during Fall change, Holidays.
      Baclofen Somewhat Helpful
Helped in very beginning, but not now. Can not tell any difference.
      Betaseron Considering
Never tried. Curious about ease of administration, side effects.
      Copaxone Too Soon to Tell
      Never tried.
LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone Considering
      Rebif Not Working
      IMMEDIATE DEPRESSION.
      Solumedrol Somewhat Helpful
Used last year. Followed by steriods.
      Symmetrel Considering
This one sounds familiar. Is it a Flu med??
    • Close Chronic Pain

I am a recently married 40 yr old lady living in the Smoky Mountains of NC. I have Chronic pain that is getting worse. Pain comes from various ailments. I am diagnosed with Depression, PTSD, PCOS, Degenerative Disc Disease, Insulin resistance, Fibromyalgia, RA, herniated discs in neck & low back, carpal tunnel in both hands, sciatica and hypothyroidism. The love of my life is fighting Multiple Sclerosis. As you can see I got stuck in the ailment line when BS diseases were being passed out.

      Treatments

      Chiropractic Adjustment Working / Worked
Great for the neck pain-I could actually turn my head when trying to back the car). My hands were symptom free for almost a year after treatment stopped.
      Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
Initially worked for both depression and pain. Too sleepy on it. Weaning off was rough but worth it.
      Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
makes me itch, except endocets, which have no real itchy effects, but they fatigue me and I have a low after taking them for several days, then stopping.
      Lyrica Too Soon to Tell
Seen the ads, not sure if it would work or not.
      Marijuana Working / Worked
Helped a lot with the depression, pain and nausea.
      Methadone Not Working
YUCK. I threw up every time I took it. It made me feel like someone had knocked the daylights out of my stomach.
      Oxycodone Somewhat Helpful
Again, the itchies come calling on most compounds containing oxy. Oxycotins make me barf everytime. The itchies were really bad on the 12 hour oxycotins too. UGH..
      Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
Work without most of the bad effects of other meds (nausea, headaches, not lasting through the night, etc). I tired to go off them and realized they "cover" pain well.
