Wow, I can't believe I haven't written anything in here since Wed. or Thurs. (I forgot already and I just looked a few minutes ago) if it was Wed. or Thurs.

Any how, it's been a very busy time.  I got my puppy.  He is 13 weeks old and as cute as they come   but of course I am prejuidiced.  LOL  His name is Toffee.  He is a pure bred Papillion and weighs 6 lbs. First thing I learned.  Dogs can get car sick.  LOL  Not something I ever thought about before, but he pooed in his kennel and then yaked.  Nice, huh?   LOL I am laughing because he is licking the bottom of my foot right now and it tickles.  He loves to be around people.  He wimpers when someone he really likes leaves the room, like me or my oldest daughter.  LOL

And yes, he has so far broken in the kitchen flooring, the llivingroom carpet and the guest bedroom carpet.  Hehehe, also my sister.  If you kneww her, you'd be laughing too.

 He hardly ever barks, until I found this thing   and when I play this he barks.  If you click on it, it will bark and it sounds pretty much like he does.  He took me on quite the walk earlier.  I'll pay for that one later.  He moves a little faster than I am used to when I walk.  I was sweating by the time we came home from our mile walk.  No, I didn't go alone.  My daughter went with me and of course Toffee.    He even did his little thing.   LOL 

I think I should probably start taking some ID along with me when I go for walks without my husband, that's if he'll let me even go without him.  Man, pass out on someone a couple of times in your life and they don't ever forget it.   LOL  

I need to get a brush and comb and some dog shampoo for him yet and make an appointment with vet for a booster and to have him checked out.  We signed an agreement with the seller, that if anything is wrong with the dog in the first year, we get our money back or another puppy from the next litter, whichever we want and that if we for some reason decide we don't want him, he will never go to a pound and they get the first chance to take him back.  We also have to send them confirmation that we had the shots done and the dog fixed at 6 months before we get the (I can't think of the word) papers that says he is a pure breed. 

Aw, now he's curled up under my computer chair by my feet, taking a little nap.   I am getting really tired though, between the new puppy, my brother's 40th, my niece's 10th, and my other brother's 58th all on the same day, and my son's 30th birthday today I am getting really tired.  Oh I already said tired.  (I was going to say pooped and then thought better of it).  LOL

I was a little concerned about my husband not taking to him, because he fought it for so many years me getting one, that is.  But I caught my hubby with the puppy on his lap watching the Packer Game and talking to him.  hehehe.

Where I go for my arthritis aquatics class is closing down on Fri. until Jan. for renovations.  I'm going to be lost and sore without the heated pool to go to.  I don't know of any other ones in the area and neither does anybody else seem to.

Well, the puppy is sleeping and I think I am going to climb into the shower and then go and watch some TV until I get tired.  Seeing as he got up at 7:00 AM this morning I assume he is going to do the same thing tomorrow.  My hubby will take him out when he gets home or goes to bed at 2 or 3 AM and he should be set for the night.  I'm going to kennel him at night until he stops leaving little suprises for my stocking feet to find.
