i had a wonderful weekend! so nice to be off work three days in a row! and even tho i had to field some phone calls, it wasn't bad at all. saturday we went to lily's house for easter dinner. renee's mom and dad were there, and her brother, wife and son as well as my other son bryan and his fiancee lacey. so we had a little crowd. we get on very well w/lily's other grandpa and grammie, so we had a great time. lots of laughing at the kids...and my quacking ducks and the wheelbarrow were a great hit,lol.. lil did pretty good all day and just kind of fell apart at supper. she's used to taking a nap each afternoon, so she does pretty good w/out a nap occassionally.then today, dave renee and lily came to my house and we had chicken, taters and veggies w/lots of leftover goodies! i will not i repeat will not step on the scale till at least thursday! i had to laugh, lily was looking out the door of the sunroom, and spied her sandbox on my back patio...lol...you would've thought she found a million bucks! so since it was sunny today (but still 32 degrees)...we got dressed and out to the sandbox we go! dang, it was so cold, and she had a boogie nose, but we played for about twenty minutes. then went for a walk down the street...it was a good day! jd and i seem to be getting on ok at the moment. first appt for counseling is the 1st week of april. i hope the weather starts to warm up soon...you can feel spring in the air, even tho its still so cold...well, wishing you all a pain free night...love, janey and lucy

Sounds like you had a great weekend. Hope that the counselling goes well for you both, will take time though I am sure. But Rome wasn't built in a day, as the saying goes.

sounds like a wonderful weekend! You certainly deserved it. Lily sounds so darn cute, I want one of my own! Kids and sandboxes go together nicely. Just make sure she empties out her shoes BEFORE she comes inside. You were brave to be outdoors 20 minutes, I am cold thinking about it. Have a good week. I am glad you and jd are getting along. Your Easter sounded like mine.. Lots of people, and happy faces .. My grandson just got a sandbox in his yard, and same thing, you think he got a million bucks... They just put up a swing set for him with the sandbox underneath it.. It makes me wanna hop in and play too ..
I have a little sand box , with no sand in it yet, this summer I will have some sand..

I'm glad to hear you and JD are doing better.. Counseling will bring out so many different feelings and emotions, be ready for that .. I know I have your number and I keep saying to myself I'm going to call just to say HI, and then something comes up .. But I will call one of these day....... I promise !
