no update on that couple that was murdered...no leads nada...and sandy, i read about that crazy dude in your area! omg! i am like you, my doors are locked! and we live in what i would call a really safe area. i take lucy out every nite at around 10 or 11 pm and i try to vary my routine etc. but as littlewing says, get a tazer and learn to use it! i do keep my extra car keys near my bed...if nothing else i can push the panic button and hopefully wake up the neighborhood! anyway, jd is off the next few days and i will sleep better. i am still recuperating from lily's sleepover,lol...she's going on "bacation" as she says...to the outer banks...i'll miss her this week,tho! i want to wish all my ds friends a very happy 4th of july...independence day! think of it! land of the free, baby! lots of peple have sacraficed a lot so we can celebrate our freedom. so go celebrate it...and when you see a young man or woman of the military...thank them for their service. god bless the usa! janey

I hope that they catch the murderer in your area soon, Janie. That is freaky. I wondered if Lily's sleepover would knock you out...I always am that way when we keep Jacob, our 2 year old nephew. But the joy is so worth the pain!!

Happy 4th my friend. Those murders are scary and I am a scardy cat myself. When Jack used to travel I would keep my cell phone under my pillow and I had a neighbors number in it. Somehow that made me feel safer. Lucy will protect you so you don't have anything to worry about. People are nuts and getting worse as the times warrant. ((hugs))marcia
